The Gordon Mitchell Memorial Fund is "a small promise" to todays youth
that we believe in them and in their potential. Each year four youths
are selected to share $1,500. One youth will receive $500 to assist them
while they grow their ability in "skilled trades" through the
Registered Apprenticeship Program, another will receive $500 to enhance
their skill development through sports and finally two will receive $250
each in recognition of their ability to build a "culture of caring"
within the school environment.
